Content Writer

Coherent Path is seeking an enthusiastic Content Writer to help shape the tone of voice and messaging for our digital product.

Coherent Path is the email marketing calendar company for top retailers seeking to transform their email program into a modern data-driven channel focused on revenue. The company's machine learning solution empowers retailers with the relevant themes and categories they should feature in today’s campaigns while continuously learning to inform the campaigns of tomorrow. By creating an optimized email diet that caters to each customer's evolving tastes and moods, Coherent Path helps retailers quickly engage and cross-sell customers and promote strategic product categories while reducing email fatigue. Coherent Path has offices in Boston and Toronto and works with retail leaders including Banana Republic, Bloomingdale’s, and LLBean.



  • Apply UX writing best practices to create clear, compelling, and concise messaging for our digital products
  • Authoring technical product documentation, including internal and end user training documentation, release notes, developer content, architecture diagrams, and API docs
  • Quality control of copy as it travels from initial draft to final layout and delivery - proofreading and keeping a close eye on spelling/grammar
  • Help build, develop, and document our content strategy in the design system, and execute it through our day-to-day writing
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and developers to create the right language and tone throughout the entire user experience
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the product’s technical features
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to send communications to clients when there are upgrades, maintenance, and incident response
  • Continually test and improve our products through iterative design


  • Previous working experience as a Content Writer for 2+ years
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in writing
  • Quick-thinker and efficiency with writing while remaining detail-oriented to ensure as little to no grammatical mistakes.

$60,000 – $80,000
